STAMP DUTY is a conceptual exploration of contemporary silhouettes that draw from vintage Indian aesthetics. The street-inspired, gender neutral, slow fashion label based in Mumbai was established in 2022 by Jay Mehta.
Informed by a passion for culture, art, music, visual aesthetics and the everyday, the label’s design philosophy is intuitive and eclectic. Using premium, handpicked fabrics, each piece is individually crafted, size inclusive and produced in-house by local artisans.
Stamp Duty aspires to fulfil our need to leave a Stamp of expression on the cultural collective.
